5/1 - 5/8
Hey Everybody! Sorry for the delay on this post but we've been really busy so I'd like to inform you of what's been going on here in St. Kitts!
Wednesday - Wednesday Morning we headed downtown to the ton square to play some worship music and evangelize to the Kittitians. It was an awesome time and during a couple of songs Jason rapped for them and they loved it! We think it caught them off guard but what's awesome is that the Lord used it to open them up to the gospel! It was astounding to see everything the Lord was doing in and through us as we simply walked in obedience.
Thursday - On Thursday we went back to Ade's place to play more games and sing song in the pool with our friends and after we finished up we went out to Timothy beach to enjoy our last beach day with Maddie. Later that evening we headed to prison here in St. Kitts. Just to give you a picture; the prison is built for roughly 60 to 70 men to live in and there are roughly 300 in it right now. Needless to say, it was packed and very hot... But the Lord uses the weak and foolish things of the world and we had an amazing time! Think about it, eight random people from the United States are going to go inside of a prison to witness and sing worship songs to over 300 men that are living in very uncomfortable conditions and their message to them is that there is a God who loves them? There was a lot of spiritual warfare our team walked through before hand but as we continued to walk with the Lord in our struggles He brought us through them as a team!
Friday - On Friday we finished painting at Sharron's house; please continue to pray that doors would continue to open up for us to share God's love with her and her family. Sharron had told us that she has never seen a missions group do the things we are doing for the community. Obviously we are not the first to paint houses for people and do kind deeds for the community, but Sharron had never seen it before! God has very clearly crossed our paths with hers so continue to pray for her as we continue to minister during our final week here! Friday night we had our final dinner with Maddie before she left to go back home to Indiana :( Maddie has been interning with the Graysons for most of the semester and she worked alongside of us during our first two weeks here in St. Kitts and since Friday was her last night with us we went to have one last dinner with her at a really cool restaurant that serves just about any kind of food you can think of. It was incredible and we had an amazing time!
Weekend - Saturday was possibly the busiest day we've had. We painted a playground, sent a few members of the team to the Radio station to share scriptures, testimonies and worship songs and we went to work with the kids at Awana. As much as we didn't want Saturday to come, we had to say goodbye to Maddie :( Sunday morning we attended Caribbean Christian Fellowship at the Frigate Bay Resort where Brandon has recently become the new pastor. his sermon was absolutely incredible simply because he taught the Word of God and because he didn't put on a show. We've learned through CCBCi that walking through the Word chapter by chapter and verse by verse is the best way to study and teach God's Word. Sunday afternoon some of our team went Snorkeling at Timothy Beach.
Monday - On Monday almost our entire team hiked to the top of the volcano! It was incredible and it was such an awesome time together! Reuben and Jason made it all the way to the top and we couldn't be more proud of them! It is truly amazing how God works! Even when we don't see it or see how God is working, we can know that He is! Thank you God for what you've done, for what you are doing and for what you are going to do!
Tuesday - Tuesday morning we headed over to another school to paint more swing sets. At this school the swings were broken so we repaired them and painted everything once again. we also got to play games and race some of the kids! That night we sent the Graysons to the Marriott to have a night away from the kids and to rest and relax. Jamie, Chrissy, Amanda and Candice went to the girl's prison to minister to the inmate there. The biggest difference between the girls and guys prison was that there were only two women compared to 300 men. While Candice shared her testimony some of the guards sat down and asked questions as well as the two women. I was told it was an amazing time of ministry!
Wednesday - Since we had sent the Graysons to the Marriott they were allowed to bring us to the pool and swim. We got to play volleyball in the pool and snorkeled at the nearby beach. It was a ton of fun and it was awesome day of rest! Our team has been working hard and it was great to have a day to rest and be refreshed by the Lord. Wednesday night we had our weekly bible study at the Grayson's house and Brandon taught from the last sections of Acts 20. It was really awesome how the Lord opened us up during a time of prayer just before hand and how that transpired to our heart being united. We've seen how prayer is one way that our wills aline with God's, but it's awesome to see that when our hearts aline with God's then our hearts aline with each other. As we pray our hearts are united as one and we can catch the vision of those who pray. In only three weeks we have began to catch the vision that Brandon and Wendi share through our times together where we pray and intercede for the Kittitians. God is really doing an awesome work and we couldn't be happier that we are a part of it!

Days 7, 8 & 9
Sunday - Sunday morning Caribbean Christian Fellowship met here at Brandon's house. We had an awesome time of worship lead by Amanda and then Brandon introduced Jason who shared his testimony with us. It was very moving and incredible to hear about the grace of God being pour out on a broken individual who has been made new! Praise the Lord for the works of justification, sanctification & glorification that He does in our lives!
Monday & Tuesday -The past two days have been nothing but painting, painting and more painting. It's been awesome to watch our team grow in unity through simply serving others! Non of us are doing anything to earn each others love and it is through Christ that we are drawn closer together! On Tuesday a local Kittitian the Grayson's know named Kebo came over and made us an authentic kittian dinner. It was absolutely incredible!
Things to pray for:
-Please continue to pray for unity in and through the Word of God for our group
-That God would give us all good times of rest in between days as the sun and physical labor can really be exhausting.
Praise: St. Kitts was hit with an earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale this morning at 3 a.m. All is well and we are completely fine. Thank you for your prayers!

Day 4 & 5!!!
Thursday - On Thursday morning we went to Ade's place where we swam with adults who have special needs. We really enjoyed it and had a great time simply hanging out and singing songs! We played marco polo and sang all sorts of praise and worship song together with them! After we finished hanging out at Ade's place we came back to the Graysons', packed our lunches and headed to the beach! It was an awesome time hanging out together that I'm sure that no one will forget about it for a long time!
Friday - Today we split up into two groups and tackled almost all of the painting and masonry work at Hazel's house and we are almost finished! As we finished Hazel's house a neighbor close by asked us, "What are you doing painting houses in St. Kitts?" So we shared some of Brandon's testimony concerning St. Kitts and how we came from the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Indianapolis and that we were in St. Kitts to serve the Graysons'. We talked to her about Caribbean Christian Fellowship and she asked if we would be willing to paint her house too! And she said she also wanted to come to the Wednesday night bible study!
I know this is short and sweet but the Lord continues to do absolutely amazing things in and through our group! Please continue to pray as we continue to walk worthy of the calling! Thank you so much for your support!!!
Scriptures For Today!
1 Peter 2:9-10 "But you are
a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special
people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of
darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy."
1 Peter 2:21-25 "For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us,leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”; who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who
Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died
to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls."
God continues to conform us more to the image of Christ every day both as individuals and as His hands and feet! Please keep praying that God would bring us even closer together through His Word! Our trip is going great and we will post another blog about the past two days soon! Thank you again for your prayers!!!

Day 2 & 3!!!
Tuesday - Wow! We are have been so blessed by our time here in St. Kitts already! The Lord continues to do amazing things and we have only been here for two days!!! On Tuesday we had a prayer walk around St. Kitts and at each location we would stop and have a couple of members of the team pray for the Kittitians and the ministry opportunities at each location. We stopped at a store called automotive art where Brandon met a man named Evris and through that relationship Awana and other ministries such as the bible study on Wednesday nights. Then we went to the soccer field where Brandon plays flag football with some of the local college students who desperately need Jesus. After we finished praying we headed to the government building to pray for the government of St. Kitts. While we were praying a Kittitian can and stood by us. When we finished he began asking us questions about why we were here, what we were doing and why we were praying. He said that we had an amazing boldness in praying to the Almighty right in front of the capital building. He thanked us for praying for St. Kitts and for serving the children here in St. Kitts! When we had finished our conversation we walked over to the radio station where Brandon has been given the opportunity to do a radio show that ministers to the entire island! Finally, we drove over to Caribbean Christian Fellowship that meets every week in the Frigate Bay Resort conference room. Brandon has recently become the pastor of CCF and we have an amazing opportunity to serve him in a lot of new ways that can truly bless the Graysons!
Wednesday - Wednesday morning we visited Beach Allen Primary school where we played music and did a skit for all of the kids during a school assembly. It was such a blessing to hang out with the kids and hear them laugh! After we had finished our skit Vince explained the meaning of it to the kids. Then Vince asked questions about the skit to the kids and whoever answered correctly won a prize. We handed out a basketball a couple of soccer balls and a handful of small Nerf footballs. The kids were going crazy and it was a blessing to hear them shout out the correct answers over and over again! After Vince finished the kids sang a couple of songs to us and it was honestly one of the coolest thing we had ever heard! We also went to a lady's house who attends the Wednesday night bible study to paint her house and simply serve in any way we can! Her name in Hazel and it has been a privilege to serve her by painting her house! After we finished up our day's work we came back to the Graysons to prepare for the Wednesday night bible study. We read through Hebrews 10 and Brandon gave an excellent study on it! Thank you so much for praying for us! It is incredible to think about how God has given us so many blessings and how much of a comfort it is to know that we have people praying for us as we continue to serve the Graysons and the Kittitians! Once again, thank you so much!

Scriptures For Today!
Colossians 3:12-17 "Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, long-suffering; bearing
with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint
against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let
the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and
admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
Galatians 5:22-26 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another."
And Romans 8!!!
Keep praying because God has already begun to do awesome things! Thank you for your prayers!

Day 1!!!
Around 3 o'clock this morning our team gathered together to pray before we headed to the airport to catch our flight at 6:30. It was a really sweet and simply a blessed time in prayer and it served as an opportunity to say goodbye to our friends and family who have supported us so much over our time spent preparing for this very day! God has blessed this trip so much already and we know He wants to do awesome things during our time here in St. Kitts! Our flights were great and we were blessed to have some very good conversations both with our team and others on our flights! Needless to say, we arrived safely and are enjoying our time with Maddie and the Graysons already! Thank for all of your prayers, they are greatly appreciated! Please continue to pray for us as we unpack and begin serving!
1 Peter 3:8-12 says "Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not
returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary
blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a
blessing. For “He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

Jesus commanded His disciples to go into “every nation” and
make disciples. Here at CCBCi, we give every student international
missions experience on our year-end three-week Practicum. Students will
serve and evangelize alongside missionaries in foreign countries,
getting a taste of a different culture, different ministry, and
different language. They will see God moving in places far from home,
meeting and sharing Christ’s love with another people that they may have
never have before known existed or thought about!
We are 45 days, 16 hours, 27 minuets and 37 seconds away from our Practicum! Our team is officially St. Kitts bound! We are leaving on the 22nd of April and our excitement as a team has begun to build! The Lord has been faithful and He continues to show His faithfulness in the support he has provided through finances and, most importantly, through prayer! The lord has also begun to knit us together as a team and He has begun to do awesome things within our group already! It has been such a blessing as we've watched the Lord knit together a group to do great things for Him! The world may look at our team, the gifts we possess and the purpose that drives us as foolishness "But
God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the
wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame
the things which are mighty;"
We know that the Lord wants to do awesome things in St. Kitts, in our team and in our individual hearts! Please pray with us for;
-The hearts of the people in St. Kitts
-For the Graysons to be blessed by our team
-And for our team to united through Christ alone so we may glorify Him both as individuals and as a team!
